updated a few macros...
I updated GDG Click it Contours and shadows to 2.1 from 2.0, GDG Easy Dim and sample from 2.1 to 2.5, and GDG Simple Save Free macro from 1.0 to 1.1.
I also did a little compatibility testing across versions of Corel DRAW.

Helpful Code ....CHUNKS?
It's a new section. Let's see how it goes. I'll try and post some useful vba code as I create. It mostly comes from others requests that I feel might be useful for others. Check it out and feel free to put your own as well, or comment about the ones there. |

New Macro: GDG Optimum Rotation.
Check out the new macro GDG Optimum Rotation. Here's a corel draw macro to rotate shapes in any way possible. Use it to replace CorelDraw's default rotate function.
Optimum Rotation can rotate a shape until it's thinnest width or height is achieved. This is great for signmakers and the like, who need to fit items in a given width material. Simply click and the item is maximized horizontally or vertically. |

version 2.1 released of GDG Easy Dim & Sample Macro
I released version 2.1 today. Customer requested features added. Added global nib size option. This adjusts distance of starting line of dims lines from object. Added global setting text distance from dim lines. This option allows you to adjust the text distance away from dim lines when not using inline text mode. Whew...This one's gettin' big! |

Free macro - GDG Simple Save
version 1.0 of GDG Simple Save released today. FREE MACRO!
Free macro for saving in Corel Draw. Remembers version, and path so you can save to the same path every time and to the same version of Draw as well. A modeless form means you can continue to work and click save, modify the file, or choose another, and click save again. Works great when you have many files to save or just want a simplified saving macro! |

GDG Nest: NEW MACRO!
Version 1.0 OF GDG Nest released TODAY! Nesting shapes has always been a tough job for a macro. Finally GDG Nest to the rescue. The nesting operation can take up to a second per shape depending on the options you have chosen. The tiling option is very fast and can put hundreds of shapes in a specified area, very quickly. Additional options include speed testing timer, make a duplicate of files for nest, rotate 90 and 45, and more. An awesome bonus shape randomizer is included. It's a whole extra macro built right in. Randomize shapes position in an area, color based on a palette, x and y position, and rotation. Just WOW! |
