about gdg macros

End of an era...
I had the pleasure of creating macros and keeping them up to date for years, but all good things must come to an end. Thank you for your years of support. The site will be left up for viewing only from now on. No macros will be available going forward, and please, do not email me asking that I update a macro or if I can sell an open license version. Thank you. ~John

GDG Macros

John Johnson & Family

Supported by my beautiful wife Lorena of 12 years and my 3 awesome kids, John, Neil, and Jessica, I love to use CorelDraw and write VBA macros. I have found CorelDraw to be a great tool in my daily work, and the macros I create help to shave hours off of my workload every day. I've been a CorelDraw user since version 8, and besides loving to create graphics, I love writing programs of all types just as much.

I began creating this site in August of 2009 to begin promoting some of my macros, both free and for a fee...lol. It will be a constant work in progress and you will see many changes as time goes on, so I hope you keep coming back.

For some years I have been writing PHP scripts for web applications, and then eventually found VBA to fun as well. After exploiting many of the possibilities of PHP for the web, it was time for a fresh new language. The migration from PHP to VBA was quite a challenge at first as the languages are quite different in many ways, but having a background in programming is a big help. I fell in love with the possibilities or VBA for CorelDraw and now I love to write creative macros that I hope everyone will love to use as well.
